Some Extras

There are many extras that we provide, however these are a few.

Dedicated IPs
A dedicated IP is an address made up of numbers assigned to your hosting. It is a direct link to your hosting which is not shared with any other user. For all our web, reseller and VPS packages we offer dedicated IPs if so required at a price of $1.50 per month each.
SSL
SSL is Secure Socket Layer - which adds the possibility of having the famous "https://" as a prefix to your domain. SSL is used to encode a transmission between your client's computer and your website so that the data which is being transferred is kept secure. This is beneficial if you want to accept credit card transactions on your website and want to re-assure your clients that they are on a secure website. SSL certificates start at $12 per year and require a dedicated IP address. More Information
Domain Privacy
Domain privacy is when you do not want your personal information to show on the WHOIS database. We offer the domain privacy at a price of $6.50 per year to all the domains registered by us. Please note that we cannot offer domain privacy if you do not have your domain with us.

If you require professional web-design, we will be able to help you. Jump start your web site with a professionally designed website today! A basic professional website starts from only $800 and comes with free hosting and domain for the first year! Hosting Customisation
We offer the installation of several scripts, and programs such as phpBB Forum, Invision discussion board, Mambo cms, OsCommerce, PHP Nuke, PHP Wiki, Wordpress and more free of charge for all hosting accounts. If you wish you can also install these yourself from the cp-addon or softaculous, or fantastico delux area inside cPanel. We also offer to install certain packages on our servers to support certain applications which you may want to use - please note that we have our customer's security as a first priority and cannot install a package for you if we consider it unsafe. Please note that we do not customise the installation as that would come under the web-design option. Do I need a dedicated IP?

No. There is no difference in performance between a shared IP and a dedicated IP. The fact that we do not authorise any illegal action on any of our plans ensures that our IPs are not blacklisted. Even if an account has breached our TOS they will be removed from the server and your accounts will be moved to a different IP which will be whitelisted. The only valid reasons for getting a dedicated IP is to setup an SSL certificate, or to setup nameservers.

Do I need an SSL?

No. You do not need an SSL certificate, hence why we do not include it as standard on our plans. An SSL certificate is essentially to re-assure your customers about their data being sent securely to your website. Most people accepting payments will use payment getaway services such as Paypal, Worldpay, Google... Using payment getaways means that you do not need to worry about your customers' payment and payment processing. Just sit back and relax as the payment getaway companies collect your money!

Who would need an SSL?

A large company who wishes to accept credit/debit card transfers from their website straight into their account to minimise the cost of outsourcing the payment getaways. A company who wishes to store credit card details of their customers for future use with their system or just a website requiring people to know they are accessing secure/sensitive data which is being kept securely.
